Breast Augmentation

Breast augmentation which is also known as augmentation mammoplasty is a kind of surgery which helps in increasing breast size. It also involves placing breast implants under the breast tissue or chest muscles.

Breast Augmentation gives confidence to some women whereas for some it's rebuilding the breast for various conditions. Before going for this process always take consideration of a plastic surgeon. Always make sure you understand what surgery involves, including possible risks, complications, and follow-up care.

Purpose of Breast Augmentation :
  •      Enlarge your look if you think your breasts are too small or that one is smaller than the other one..
  •       Fine tune the reduction in the size of your breasts after pregnancy.
  •        Appropriate the uneven breasts surgery for other conditions.
  •        Increase your self-confidence.

Risk Factors of Breast Augmentation:
  •        Breasts pain
  •      Infection
  •     Changes in nipple and breast sensation
  •    Implant leakage or Rupture

 Procedure:
To introduce the breast implant, your surgeon will make a single cut in one of three places:

In the crease under your breast (inframammary)

Under your arm (axillary)

Around your Nipple (Periareolar)

After making an incision, the surgeon will divide your breasts tissue from the muscles and combined tissue of your chest. This helps us to create a pocket either behind or in front of the outermost muscle of the chest wall. After this, the surgeon will insert the implant into this pocket and center at the back of your nipple.

Saline implants are injected empty and they are filled with sterile salt water once they're in place. Silicone implants are pre-filled with silicone gel.
Once the implant is in place, the surgeon will close the incision typically with stitches and bandage it with skin adhesive and surgical tape.

Result:
Breast augmentation helps you to change the size and shape of your breasts. The surgery helps you to improve your body image and self-esteem. Also, your breasts will continue to age after augmentation.
